The Darnley      

Built in 1850 the Darnley is independently owned and set in it's own tranquil gardens just yards away from the start of the Ilfracombe High Street. The Sea front is also just a short walk from the Darnley Hotel. The owners have started a rolling programme of updates and investments. The objective of which is to retain the original features throughout the Hotel and provide guests with all the modern conveniences and comforts expected.

The Darnley Hotel features home cooked evening meals from our inhouse restaurant which also provides you breakfast in the mornings. A Licensed bar, family rooms, daily courtesy tea trays, en-suite bedrooms and a host of other features. 
 
 
Our self catering cottages are on one level, each sleep up to four people and have stunning views across Ilfracombe town. Well behaved pets are welcome in our self catering cottages. 
 
 
Ilfracombe is a short drive away from the beautiful beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde famed for the miles of golden sand, surfing, kite flying, swimming and sailing. Ilfracombe is also near Exmoor National Park, and is the main harbour for Lundy Island.
